At Sunny Bear, children spend their days in three classrooms matched to their age: Infant, Toddler, and Preschool. Each room has teachers who know the children well, plenty of play, and a calm rhythm to the day. We speak Spanish and English with the children every day, and we follow the ELM Curriculum.

Cubs
Infants, 3 to 15 months. One teacher for every 3 babies.
Our Infant Room is calm and close-knit, a place where babies feel safe and loved. We follow your baby’s home routine for sleep, feeding and comfort, and gently introduce our daily rhythm as they grow.

Paws
Toddlers, 15 months to 3 years. One teacher for every 4 children.
Toddlers are becoming more independent, curious and adventurous. Our teachers gently guide them as they learn to share, take turns and express their feelings.

Young Bears
Preschool, 3 to 5 years. One teacher for every 10 children.
Our Preschool Room gets children ready for kindergarten in a warm, playful way, with a focus on confidence, independence and school readiness, not drills.

Many of our teachers have been with us over 15 years, and we welcome children with different needs.
Good to know
Families pack breakfast and lunch; we provide snacks, and our center is peanut-free. Toddlers and preschoolers can also join our morning program, 9:00am–12:30pm. For fees and current openings, please contact our center. See a typical day on our Daily Routine page.

Come visit us, see the rooms, and meet the teachers. Tours are relaxed, take about 30 minutes, and are on weekdays between 4:30 and 5:30pm.
