About us
Sunny Bear has been part of Massachusetts early childhood for three decades, from Roslindale and Dedham to Southboro, West Roxbury, and our home now in Jamaica Plain. We've grown with Greater Boston families the whole way.
How we care for children 💭
Days here are built around play, stories, music, and walks to the park. We follow the ELM Curriculum, and we speak Spanish and English with the children every day. Children learn best when they feel safe and known, so we let them move at their own pace — building confidence, kindness, and curiosity along the way.
Our classrooms ☀️
Our rooms are warm and calm, with space for art, books, soft play, and quiet. We don’t have a yard of our own, so the children walk to nearby parks for fresh air and outdoor play. Everything is set up for comfort, safety, and the kind of day a child wants to come back to.

Many have been with us 15 to 20 years, so children see the same faces year after year. They bring patience, warmth, and real care to every day, and they work closely with families so you always know how your child is doing.
